The Closer's Anchor — Live GHL Teleprompter (Chrome extension and companion dashboard) · Effective 4 October 2026

The Closer's Anchor ("the extension", "we") is a Chrome side-panel tool that transcribes the client's side of a Google Meet or Zoom call and suggests what the user should say next. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes. The short version: audio and text go only to the AI provider you configure, using your own API key; we run no server of our own; the only service that sees your license key is Lemon Squeezy, which issued it; everything else stays in your browser.

1. Data the extension processes

2. Where data is sent

Depending on the provider you choose in the extension's settings, audio and text are transmitted directly from your browser to:

These providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies, tied to your account with them. We do not operate any server that receives your audio, transcripts, keys or usage data, and we have no access to them.

3. Data we do not collect

Beyond the license record above, we do not collect payment details, browsing history, page content, analytics or telemetry through the extension. The dashboard is a page inside the extension. It reads the calls you saved and keeps its own settings in your browser only.

4. Consent and the people on your call

You are responsible for complying with the call-recording and consent laws that apply to you and to the people on your calls, and for telling participants that the call is being transcribed where the law requires it. The extension only captures audio while you have explicitly started listening; the side panel shows a green "Active" indicator whenever capture is running, and Stop Listening ends it immediately.

5. Retention and deletion

Saved calls remain in your browser until you delete them (Clear in the side panel, or remove the extension). Removing the extension deletes all of its stored data. Data held by your AI provider is governed by that provider's retention policy and your account settings with them.

6. Security

API keys and call data are stored using Chrome's extension storage on your device. Communication with AI providers uses HTTPS / secure WebSockets. Because the extension is client-side only, protecting the device and browser profile you use it on is the main safeguard for your data.

7. Children

The extension is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the new version published at this address.
